The Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance Award 2019 Presentation Ceremony was successfully held at the Jockey Club Environmental Building in Kowloon Tong on 4th December 2019.  Mr TSE Chin Wan, BBS, JP, Under Secretary for Environment, Government of the HKSAR, Ir Dr Richard PANG, Director of Industry Development, Construction Industry Council, Mr Cliff WONG, Vice President, Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies Limited, Mr Ricky LAM, Vice Chairman, The Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades Limited and Ir Cary Chan, Executive Director, Hong Kong Green Building Council were invited as honorable guests. Over 60 representatives from developers/ strategic partners, shopping malls and shops attended. They are affirming the contribution of the Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance to promote ideas of environmental protection in the industry.
 

The theme of the Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance Award 2019 is: Mutual cooperation between shopping malls and shops. Shopping malls can implement effective environmental protection measures, which is hardly only contributed by shopping malls or shops. Rather, they must consolidate common ideas and cooperate with each other to attain the achievement.
 

A total of 5 Best Collaborative Effort of Malls and Shops Awards, 7 Best Green Practice in Malls Awards and 11 Best Green Practice in Shops Awards from the retail, catering and service sectors, and 16 New Alliance Awards were presented.
