New Theme for Link Sustainability Lab: Loop to Last – Unveiling the Circular Economy

Link Sustainability Lab, located in Lok Fu Place, is a not-for-profit educational project that is Hong Kong’s first sustainability education and collaboration platform in the local community. The Lab was launched in April 2023 and is open to the public free of charge.

Link Sustainability Lab is excited to unveil its latest theme: "Loop to Last - Unveiling the Circular Economy”. The new theme showcases how technological advancements have enabled the adoption of the circular economy and features some nature-based solutions to address the ecological crisis.

Diverse Scope with Interactive Features

In recent years, there has been an increasing push towards adopting a circular economy with the goal of creating a sustainable cycle that reintegrates used resources into the consumption and production of goods. This reduces resource depletion by allowing the Earth’s finite resources to be reused.

The Lab’s new theme features a range of topics including climate change, sustainable fashion, overpackaging, marine litter, recycling of e-waste, waste-to-energy, and nature-based solutions. It also offers various immersive and digital interactive games, enabling visitors to learn more about the circular economy in a fun and engaging way.
