Using a systematic approach to environmental management, China Hong Kong City has established clear communication channels with stakeholders and introduced the latest eco-friendly practices to its daily operations. This has enhanced operational efficiency and promoted sustainable development.

Promoting Resources Reuse and Circular Economy Practices

China Hong Kong City adopts innovative solutions to promote resources recycling. In addition to providing tenants with customised recycling bins, it regularly sends staff to collect recyclables onsite. The team collects recycled plastic bottles and upcycles them into three-colour recycling bins, which have been placed in public areas of the shopping mall and office towers. Multiple smart recycling machines for plastic bottles, aluminium cans and used clothes are also available, encouraging tenants to actively participate in sorting and recycling.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations

China Hong Kong City fully supports green transportation by proactively introducing an advanced EV charging distribution system that smartly monitors and manages power resources, including two of the fastest charging stations in Hong Kong. Looking ahead, it remains committed to continually investing resources to promote green living.

Solar Panels

China Hong Kong City is likewise dedicated to promoting the use of renewable energy through the installation of a large solar photovoltaic system on the rooftop of the building. Consisting of 1,143 solar panels covering an area of approximately 2,171 square metres, it is one of the largest installations on a commercial building in Kowloon. This solar photovoltaic system plays a key role in contributing to the goal of net-zero carbon emissions and supporting carbon neutrality.
