Exchange Tower is a Grade A commercial building located in Kowloon Bay, managed by Sino Estates Management Limited, a member of the Sino Group. Its management team is committed to integrating green living elements into all operational aspects, and actively implements various sustainable development plans and initiatives to achieve the vision of “Creating Better Lifescapes”.
Community Engagement
The management team at Exchange Tower is dedicated to community engagement and proactively collaborates with various stakeholders. The team has introduced several green initiatives, including a “Green Thumb” seedling adoption scheme, Hydroponic Farm, arts and green education. These initiatives all incorporate environmental protection concepts while also supporting underprivileged individuals. From the broader cityscapes to individual lives, we are shaping the city we call home whether in work, life or play.
Application of Innovative Technology
To enhance energy efficiency, the team leverages innovative technology and artificial intelligence by adopting a Smart Resource Management System. This enables real-time monitoring and adjustments based on actual circumstances to reduce energy consumption. The team has also replaced traditional lighting with LED fixtures to reduce power consumption and installed motion detection sensors to adjust lighting according to foot traffic.
Waste Management
In addition, Exchange Tower integrates robust waste management practices into its daily operations. These include implementing a comprehensive food waste management programme to minimise the amount of food waste sent to landfill, installing a Reverse Vending Machine to promote recycling, and making use of upcycled materials for its recycling bins, thereby demonstrating support for the circular economy.
