- Turn off the lights and electrical appliances when not in use
- Use high-efficiency lighting wherever possible (e.g. T5 fluorescent tubes, LED lamps)
- Adopt lighting control for display windows (e.g. dim / partially switch off lighting of display windows after the mall is closed)
- Clean the light fittings and air-conditioners regularly
- Install motion sensors for lighting wherever appropriate (e.g. in store room)
- Maintain indoor temperature at an adaptive thermal comfort level (e.g. 24 – 26 °C in summer)
- Use electrical appliances with Energy Label
- Implement energy management practices (e.g. monitor and review electricity use, identify high consumption and abnormal use areas)
