Organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council and funded by the Construction Industry Council, the Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance (HKGSA) is pleased to present three “Capacity Building Workshops” tailored for mall and shop operators. Featuring experienced sustainability experts, the workshops will offer interactive exchanges and in‑depth insights into the latest environmental trends in retail.
Sustainable Retail: ESG in Action Speaker: Mr Dennis WU, Vice Chairman and Executive Director, AEC Group Introduction: This workshop explores the critical role of ESG in shaping the future of retail. Beyond compliance, it highlights the advantages of adopting robust ESG practices. The programme covers the HKGSA’s “Six Green Aspects,” the integration of social responsibility into business operations, and the establishment of clear roles and accountability within governance structures. Through the workshop, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the importance of stakeholder engagement and transparent communication. The workshop will also provide participants with a practical framework for developing and implementing ESG strategies that align with both sustainability and business objectives. Industry practitioners are encouraged to access the training materials through this online platform to further strengthen understanding of ESG practices in the retail sector. | |
