Smart Waste Solutions: Resource Efficiency in Retail

Introduction: This workshop will introduce knowledge and tools for waste reduction, helping the retail sector transform waste management into a competitive advantage. The programme covers waste management strategies in Hong Kong, green building certification requirements for waste management, waste audit methodologies, and the core principles of effective waste handling. Through interactive case studies, participants will explore source reduction approaches, recycling and reuse practices, as well as emerging technologies tailored to retail environments. Attendees will gain actionable insights to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen their brand’s environmental stewardship.
